The hotel is conveniently located near freeways, shopping, and dining establishments in a calm neighborhood setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but there is a noticeable stench in the smoking wing. The staff is friendly and apologetic about ongoing renovations.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and did a great job of taking care of us. However, the location was not as clean as expected, as I could smell mold when we checked in. On the bright side, the hot cocoa on cold mornings was a nice touch, and I will definitely consider staying at the Baymont again next time I'm in Rockford.

The service was quite humorous, and while they nearly insisted my husband was Terry Bradshaw's brother, which he isn't, they were still very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. However, there were instances where they would not lift a finger to help in any way.
